Project overview

A house organized around a single tree, positioned as the spatial and experiential core of the house. A transparent enclosure is constructed around it, creating a vertical green space that brings light, air, and seasonal change into the interior.

The surrounding volumes are arranged as distinct functional blocks - living, dining, working, and resting - each oriented toward this central void. This configuration allows every space to maintain a constant visual relationship with both the indoor greenery and the broader landscape beyond.

Circulation is developed as a continuous vertical movement wrapping around the core, turning the act of moving through the house into a sequence of shifting perspectives centered on nature.

Above, the roof planes are adjusted in response to sunlight, opening up the interior to varying qualities of daylight while reinforcing the connection between built form and environmental conditions.

The result is a spatial system where the house grows outward from a natural element, allowing architecture and landscape to remain inseparable.
